Draggie, and roadleader Therapy!
Victor/BCbikerguy. Met him for the first time at the Canadian Boarder. He rode to Naniamo with us.
Draggie and bro BigE.. Pretty site!!! Do they look exausted or WHAT?
Draggie in Oregon!!! Here is her version of the last ride day of the Conga.
Well after a late night, and worrying about waking the bros so early, we got a surprise with Carl banging on the window first. I was awake but just biding time to wake everyone.
I went and got coffee for Flo for the last time, she is going to miss that! Everyone was bustling around getting loaded and ready to go to the border. Before we headed anywhere, of course we had to check for any new posts and try to add the videos we were working on the night before.
Spent a little extra time and made the last blog post before returning to Canada and also adding the pics of the grafitti.
We got geared up and headed out, with I was leading us the way to the border. Dont know how I does it but I can find my way anywhere. Flo is always amazed.
We had a liesurely ride to the boarder and everything seemed to be going smooth, but oops we did miss the US office.
Blingos had to take La Reina back around to the the US office so she could get the paperwork done there, then re enter Canada with her to finish off the final paperwork. After a little over an hour La Reina was cleared for Canada and off we went to meet up with the last group of Conga riders.
Willi and Victor.
As we departed from the border the first couple rain drops started to fall and by the time we were 5 minutes up the road to meet with Willi and Bcbikeguy, the heavens opened. We had a quick round of hugs and decided to try and make a break for it and get further west towards the ferries. This didnt last long as the rain was coming down so hard, we were all having a hard time seeing the road. I think it was mutual but WE WERENT HAPPY WITH CANADA AT THAT MOMENT
We decided to pull off in the next little town and have a bite to eat. This of course made BigE happy as he hadnt ate yet today and the rest of us just happy to get out of the rain.
We had a quick brunch and Willi decided to do the smart thing and headed back home. I dont think she wimped out at all considering what we had to go through.
So saying goodbye I took the lead again and headed us for the ferry. We lucked out and had dry skies for most of the ride to the ferry, it was the last 5 miles that it started to rain on us again.
We pulled into the ferry terminal only to find out that the times were wrong and we had missed the ferry that we were hoping for and we now had another 2 hour wait.
We went inside the terminal and had coffee and made appopriate phone calls to let everyone know we had been delayed yet again. Perfect opportunity for more photos with evryone. Mind you while we were there Flo did get lost in the bathroom.
Finally it was our turn to board the ferry in the pouring rain. Oh no that dreaded ramp! SHE IS NOT GOING TO DROP HER BIKE AGAIN!!!
We all took our time heading up the ramp and she made it!!!! We found somewhere to sit and from what Flo later was told Blingos and I were making bets on who would be snoring first!!!

More phone calls insued and we were informed that the news crew would be waiting and possibly airing LIVE!!!
Flo went into panic mode not knowing what to say or how to say it. I calmed her down yet again and encouraged her that she would do fine.
We headed off the ferry in the torential downpour and sure enough the news crew and other friends were there to greet us. we pulled over and after a round of hugs from Jos and Vic and MamaMarin(who braved the elements to be there)the reporter started in on the questions.
She was stumbling over her tongue but with the help of those around her she managed to get through it. We headed out again so that the news crew could take more video and went to the nearest Tim Hortons. LD was waiting there for us to arrive.

We were so wet that after wringing out assorted pieces of clothing we had formed a small lake in Timmies. After a couple of rounds of coffee and lots more love and encouragement and some goodbyes we got ready to leave.
Jos and Vic headed off, thankfully I stopped being the hard asss that I can be and decided to go as far as MamaMarins and leave my bike there and have MM drive her home. She had a good 60km to get home on her own in this crappy weather. Which left the Fuhr factor to carry on northward to rendevous with Spyderman in QUalicum.
Hope you have another good nights sleep Flo and glad to hear your actually going to get dressed tomorrow.
Love ya GF
Your twisted sista from another mista!!!
