Chrome Divas A Ladies Only Motorcycle Group

This is a new group I joined a couple of weeks ago. It is American but that doesn't matter obviously!!! I am Canadian and these gals are coming to ride with me. This is an email I received today.


My friend Gypsie/Cyndi is Chapter Director of Chrome Divas Murphy,NC has sent it to her chapter in Murphy, North Carolina!

Good Morning Ladies!
Well we are barely a week old and already we have 14 members and stretch from Florida to Vancouver Island, Canada (think Washington state area, not Maine).

We have ladies who have joined our chapter from North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Missouri and, of course, Canada. I am pleased and expect us to continue to grow and have, of course, have fun while doing it!

We have a very special event coming up as many of you know. For those of you who don't here's what's happening - one of our Chrome Diva sisters, Flo (one of our Canadian sisters), has purchased a HD Road King from Donna (one of our Florida sisters).

Next week Flo is flying to Donna's house and spending a few days getting to know her new Road "Queen". Now, she's got to get La Reina back to Canada and being the bikers that we are, shipping isn't an option. So the Go With The Flo Conga Line Ride was created.
Ladies from Women Who Ride (an online ladies forum) are going to escort her from Florida to Canada. She will be going from Hudson FL to Richmond Hill, GA to Ellijay, GA to Murphy NC and then on across the US.

She will be arriving in Murphy on Friday morning, May 23rd. When she arrives, UEeee (Bill) and I and the rest of the entourage are going to ride through Cherokee, over to Townsend, up the Foothills Parkway and SLAY THE DRAGON!!!

After the dragon slaying, Friday night there is going to be a big cookout at our house. Although Flo's trip is not a Chrome Diva event, this will be our first official get-together as Chrome Divas. And, of course you're invited!!!!! You're invited to do the ride on Friday, to come to the cookout Friday night, or to do both!
This will probably be the only opportunity for some of you to meet our Canadian Sister and we want to make her journey a memorable one.Of course, the Diva Dudes are invited too. To ride, to eat, or both!!

Here's the details:Friday, May 23rd meet at the Big D in Murphy. KSU approximately 10am. (It will depend on the group's arrival from Ellijay). We will make the route through Cherokee and up 441 to Townsend, over to the Foothills Parkway and then over the Dragon to Deal's Gap for pictures, t-shirts, patches and hi-fives!

Cookout Friday Night - I would venture to say 6:30 or 7:00 pm until whenever. We are going to do hamburgers on the grill. If you'd like to bring something we'd love that too! Also, BYOB if ya want!
Saturday Morning - we will be KSU at 9am to escort Flo to Nashville. We'll be go west on 64, through Reliance, Athens and Dayton to Fall Creek Falls State Park lodge for lunch. Where we will meet up with Kaye from Nashville who will lead us on to her house.You are welcome to make all or part of the Saturday ride too!It's gonna be a blast!!!!!! Call me for details!!!!!!!
