Campbell River Toy Run

Draggie came up to spend the weekend! Of course to do the Cambell River Toy run. The weather wasn't looking promising and we did get rained on a bit before it started. We were going to go to Courtenay and meet up with the gang, Josie, Bling and a few others.
Josie our little newbie, that isn't endorsed quite yet was coming up on her own from Ladysmith. She got stuck in a down pour so when she got to Blingo's she had to dry up, so in the mean time. Draggie, BigE, me waiting patiently on the side of the road. Which was totally fine, i got to shine up the bike. Getting myself a name. Always puttin on the bling or shining that thing!!
Along came Frank Sinatra on the Spyder, as Spyderman had to work. So we rode up with Frank, and joined the gang at the Driftwood.
Don't know why, but I was nervous as all get out!! Lots of people I hadn't seen and I know the topic of the Conga goes on still. Sometimes, I feel uncomfortable, because I am made to feel like a celebrety.. Feels good, but feels wierd.
I know I was going to enter in the show and shine, and so it was nice to get all the comments on my new ride. One guy came up and whispered in my ear, and said.,...just so ya know ya got the coolest Harley here... Aww!!
The ride was great, but the best part was watch Josie, in her mirrors, I don't think for one minute that Cheschire grin went off her face. She trully is having fun, and it is such a pleasure to watch and have her hanging around with us. Me and Draggie were always laughing and smiling and say, Check it out...its still there, her smile. Crikey her face must hurt.
Me and my bros the FUHR FACTOR entered our bikes for the show and shine. It didn't happen this time for neither of us. That's okay there will be another time.
Off to the Camporee in Qualicm we go...Dragon, BigE, Josie, Blingo, Lola, Slyboy, to join the rest of the gang.

Wednesday ride to Mount Washington

BigE and I rode to Courtenay to ride with 394 to go to Mount Washington. We were going to go alone and found out they were riding.
There was about 17 bikes, beautiful ride, nice and warm. We had a great dinner, met some more new friends.
On the ride back we parted at the highway, and everyone got soaked going to courtenay. Me and E played all the way home. It was muggy and warm, and he didn't even have a coat on. God, I love playing with my bros. We had the highway to ourselves and did do a bit of racing.
I been gettin alot of riding in these days. Eric is gettin to the point where he says, do we HAVE to ride tonight....lol..yup!! Ride when there is no rain Bro!! It aint going to last forever.

It was time for Bro and I to leave Dunca after a great weekend meeting so many new faces and riding so many new rides. I was feeling like I was still on vacation. I decided to post on VILR forum if anyone wanted to jump in for the ride. Gearjammer posted back and met us at the Cassidy with his wife Susie. Eric was hungry so we wanted to go some where for breaky. He has been trying since I got back from the US, to get his big Sunday breakfast.. hasn't been happenings. Jammer tells us that Buzz is meeting us up the road near Qualicum and going to ride with us. So BigE gonna have to wait just a little longer.

Here's where we met Buzz and in seconds we were trying to get him Patriotic.. He did have his Canada doo rag on... Funny how it goes, you meet someone that rides a bike and in minutes its like you've known someone along time. Laughing an joking along the way. I remember last year, I didn't have alot of people to just go for a quick ride with and look now!!

This is actually Canada day, so it was a long Canada weekend. Seemed to go on forever, which is nice.

After we picked up Buzz, we let the hungry boy BigE lead the way. He was picturing that huge big omelet and off we went to Deez!! Guess what... no Breakie!!! We had a great visit and headed towards Campbell River. Stopped at the Denman Island rest stop for photos and Buzz parted way... Cool new Cabana Boy Buzz!

Susie and Jammer came up to Cambell River, got tasseled and headed back. Was a great day! Great weekend!

Today was a great day, me and Draggie got to play!! After the Canada Day ride, we just decided to go look around and see what we could find as far as skully bling goes. We did manage to spend some dinero alright. We get ourselves in trouble hanging out, spending way to much money.
We went to Steve Dranes, as I was desperate to find some skulls...lol It is too funny, even thought the package says what it is , I still have to ask her where that piece goes. I think she gets a tad frustrated, and she knows the parts and pieces way more than I do. I just ride it, and dress it. She helps me spend my money and has even been know to put on a piece or two.
She took me on quite a few roads, I had never been to before. I have to say we do have fun playing, racing up the road, popping the throttle, making noises. It's like we are talking but we aren't talking.
A great full day of riding and then she remembers I need an oil change, so off we go to buy the oil, and she offers to do it, as I sure the heck wouldn't know how. Then she gets a thought in her head and says... Let's go visit Roadie!!!! Poor Roadie, this is the first time I have ever met him, and he is doing oil changes and putting on the Bling

New Frieinds on Canada Day!!

This is Baby, and Gazelle, first time I have ever met them. We all met on the Malahat. We sat around and got to know each other a little before the gals took off with Vic to do some nice twisties in the area.

These gals don't have their endorsement yet, so the goal was to get them out riding and get some experience and confidence before doing the test. It turned in to a very successful ride, and some new friendships. They are doing fantastic!!!

More Bling for Canada Day

Here we got the Draggie, puttin on the bling thing for me. The coolest oil cap cover we found in a shop that was not open in Naniamo. Trust us two, we walk in and have the store to ourselves. Cost me a couple hun, but I got the skull levers, oil cap, and a skull shirt. Well worth it...lol



Here is Roadie, I think I knew him 5 minutes before he was puttin on the Bling for me. Roadie is probably thinking what the???? I mean look at the look on his face. Great guy, and I do thank ya Roadie.

Getting reading for our Canada Weekend! Just had to stop by on my way to the Dragons, and put my new mirrors on the Queen. Blingo just got of work, and is traing BigE how to do the Bling thing for me, as it appears, he wont be around near as much.
That's okay he needs to learn how anyway!!!
